- Harsh chemicals — cloud polycarbonate permanently and kill plants below.
The Safe Method
Purified water, a soft brush on a telescopic pole, and patience. Green algae film lifts with gentle agitation; stubborn lichen gets repeated soft passes rather than force. Frames, finials and box gutters get done at the same time — the box gutter between the conservatory and house wall blocks constantly and is worth checking every visit.
