Every Dublin house has that window. The one over the extension roof, the landing window three storeys up, the skylight nobody has touched since the attic conversion. When people call us, it is often that window they mention first — usually with an apologetic “I don’t know if you can even get to it.”

The Ground-Based Answer

Our water-fed poles work up to 11 metres from the ground — enough to reach third-storey glass on most of Dublin’s taller houses, over extensions and porches, without a ladder ever leaning against your wall. Purified water means the rinse dries spotless even on panes we cannot towel off by hand. Height on its own is rarely the problem people assume it is; it just shapes the price, which we publish openly in our guide to cleaning taller buildings.

The Windows Poles Cannot Reach

Some glass genuinely cannot be reached from outside — the classic case is a skylight set into the main roof. Here is our position: we effectively never skip a window. Where a skylight can only be accessed from inside, we go inside, set a ladder safely, flip the window on its hinge and clean it by hand. It takes longer, it needs someone home, and it is worth it, because a clean house with one filthy skylight is not a finished job.

What This Means for Your Quote

When we price a property, awkward windows are counted, not avoided. Skylights run €4 to €8 each depending on size, and interior-access work is priced per window like everything else — no vague “access surcharges.” If a previous cleaner left certain windows out, tell us on the first walk-around and we will bring them back to standard on the initial clean.

Got one of those windows? Describe it in the quick quote form — the answer is almost certainly yes, we can reach it.
